Suzanne Thomas
Suzanne Thomas (1945–) is an American old-time and bluegrass singer, guitarist, and clawhammer banjoist. Born in Dayton, Ohio, she became one of the few prominent female multi-instrumentalists on the national bluegrass festival circuit during the early 1970s. In 1970, she co-founded The Hotmud Family alongside her then-husband, fiddler Dave Edmundson. After touring briefly with the country-rock band Sagebrush and forming the traditional duo the Kentucky Warblers with Carol Elizabeth Jones, she joined the Dry Branch Fire Squad in 1990.
