Tom, Brad, and Alice

Bands / Ensembles

Tom, Brad & Alice was an old-time string band trio of Tom Sauber, Brad Leftwich and Alice Gerrard. The trio played mostly as a banjo, fiddle and guitar ensemble, with three-part harmony singing and occasional autoharp, and drew tunes from 1920s commercial recordings, field recordings and older musicians they had learned from. They recorded four albums for Copper Creek Records.
