Mitsuya Family Band
Bands / Ensembles
The Mitsuya Family Band was a Japanese family band from Minami, Osaka. The band is based around banjo players Chiko and Masayoshi Mitsuya and their two children Tucky (possibly Takky) on guitar and Reno (or Rino) on fiddle. Their solo recording Y'all Come An' See Us, Y'Hear! was made for Red Clay Records under the name The Mitsuya Clan, possibly in the 1980s or early 90s. The album includes Hisashi Watanabe on mandolin and Hiroshi Hosoya, presumably on bass.
