Mac McGee
Mac McGee is an American bluegrass singer and guitarist, originally from Georgia, who served in the Marines and married Hazel McGee in 1957. The couple moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where Mac worked for decades as an independent trucker hauling gasoline. Servicemen at nearby military bases introduced them to bluegrass, and in 1970 they formed White Mountain Bluegrass, which became a fixture of Northeast festivals and toured Europe several times.
