Lance LeRoy

Lance LeRoy (1930–2015) was an American bluegrass manager, booking agent, and industry executive who served as the longtime manager and business partner of Country Music Hall of Fame guitarist Lester Flatt. Initially handling tax preparation for Flatt, LeRoy stepped in as full-time personal manager and booking agent in 1969 when Flatt dissolved his historic twenty-year partnership with Earl Scruggs. Over the next decade, LeRoy guided the business details, tour schedules, and major label contracts for Lester Flatt & the Nashville Grass, eventually co-founding the Lancer Agency with Flatt. He helped organize the initial meetings that established the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA), and was inducted into the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2000.
