KVOO

KVOO, the "Voice of Oklahoma," signed on in 1926 and moved to Tulsa the following year, where its 50,000-watt AM signal carried live broadcasts of Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys beginning in 1934 and made it the region's flagship country and western swing station until 2002; the heritage call letters now belong to Big Country 99.5 FM.
