KBOO

KBOO is a volunteer-driven, listener-supported community radio station at 90.7 FM in Portland, Oregon, which signed on with just ten watts on June 3, 1968, with help from community-radio pioneer Lorenzo Milam and has grown into a free-form station airing folk, jazz, hip-hop, and public affairs programming, along with live remote broadcasts from events like the Pickathon roots music festival and the Waterfront Blues Festival.
