Josh Graves

Burkett "Uncle Josh" Graves (1927–2006) was an American Dobro player from East Tennessee who, as a member of Flatt & Scruggs's Foggy Mountain Boys from 1955 to 1969, adapted Earl Scruggs's three-finger banjo roll to the resonator guitar and made the Dobro a standard bluegrass instrument. He later played with Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs, and Kenny Baker, and was inducted into the IBMA Hall of Fame.
