Jimmie Skinner
Jimmie Skinner (1909–1979) was an American country and bluegrass singer and songwriter, based for many years in Cincinnati, where he ran the Jimmie Skinner Music Center, a record store and mail-order business important to bluegrass. His songs include "Doin' My Time," recorded by Flatt & Scruggs, Johnny Cash, and others. He co-wrote and recorded "Women Beware (of the Ramblin’ Kind)" with Betty Fisher.
