J.T. Gray
Earl "J.T." Gray (1946–2021) was a bluegrass musician and the legendary owner of The Station Inn, Nashville’s world-renowned bluegrass and roots music venue. After moving from Mississippi in 1971 to perform with bands like the Misty Mountain Boys, he bought the struggling club in 1981 and spent four decades transforming it into an international touring destination for acoustic music. He was inducted into the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2020.
