Fox Family
Bands / Ensembles
The Fox Family was a bluegrass family band from upstate New York, featuring singer, guitarist and songwriter Kim Fox, her sister Barb Fox on vocals, and their brother Joel Fox on banjo. Kim and Barb shared lead singing, and the siblings sang close family harmonies. The family hosted an annual bluegrass festival in New York starting in 1990. The band's debut album on Rounder, Follow My Lead (1995), was built largely around Kim's original songs. The band later continued as 3 Fox Drive after the siblings relocated to Nashville.
