Connie Fletcher

Connie Fletcher is a singer, songwriter and string-band music teacher from Ferry County, Washington. She grew up singing and playing there in the 1970s with her sisters in the all-woman family band the Fletcher Girls. She still lives in Ferry County, where she teaches K–12 string-band music at Curlew School. She performs with the Fletcher Family, a later family group that includes her son Keith on banjo, his wife, Alicia, on bass and vocals, and her niece Megan Biggs on mandolin and vocals. The family's music came down from her mother, Wanda Fletcher, whose family roots are in northeastern Kentucky.
