Buddy & Tina Wright Band
Bands / Ensembles
The Buddy and Tina Wright Band was a bluegrass family band from Texas, built around the twin fiddling of the titular sibling, with Ray Wright on rhythm guitar and Pat Wright on vocals and bass. Buddy also played lead guitar and banjo, and Tina played mandolin. The family recorded its first album, All the Things You Need, at NoMountain Recording in Midland, Texas, in 2000, followed by The Twin Fiddling Collection (2001) and the gospel album Mountain Railroad (2002), all released independently. On June 9, 2003, the band played the Big Bear Festival in Zuidlaren, the Netherlands, and the set was released by the Dutch label Strictly Country as Live in Holland, produced by Liz Meyer.
